Christmas Boarding Guidelines

1. The cattery gets fully booked for Xmas. Each year, we get booked out earlier in the year, so GET IN EARLY!

2. Peak rates over Xmas and New Year for this coming festive season will be charged from 18th December 2010 to 30th January 2011 inclusive.

3. Over Xmas, there is a minimum fee equivalent to 7 days boarding.

4. We ask for a $161.70 deposit that must be paid by the end of November to secure your booking. This deposit will then be taken off your bill when your cat goes home from the cattery (EG: If your total boarding bill comes to $261.70, and you have already paid the $161.70 deposit, you will pay $100 upon collection of your cat).

5. The deposit you pay is NON REFUNDABLE nor can it be used as credit if you cancel the boarding after paying the deposit. SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A REFUND/CREDIT AS THE ANSWER WILL BE "NO".

6. EVERY cat boarding over Xmas/New Year MUST be fully up to date with vaccinations (even cats that reside solely indoors). NO EXCEPTIONS AT ALL. If you are not a regular client of Petersham Veterinary Hospital, and your cat gets vaccinated elsewhere, the onus is on you to provide us with proof of current vaccination status (by fax/email/bringing in a vaccination certificate). Please organize this as early as possible if needed - If you arrive for boarding and you have not provided us with a vaccination certificate, you WILL be turned away and your deposit forfeited. PLEASE BE WARNED ABOUT THIS - as our cattery is full, we cannot take even the slightest risk on this issue. If your cat is not up to date with vaccinations, he/she will need 2 vaccines, a month apart with the 2nd vaccine being administered AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to boarding. So we cannot vaccinate your cat upon admission to the cattery if he/she is overdue.

7. Cats CANNOT be admitted to nor collected from the cattery on Xmas, Boxing and New Years Days.
